Motorcycle airbag vest integrating unrivalled protection that remains discreet
The airbag shape integrated in the vest absorbs impacts and stabilizes the whole upper body from head to tailbone.
The TURTLE Technology is a breakthrough innovation that significantly improves energy absorption especially of sharp or intruding objects that would otherwise damage the bags of air.
The triggering system is 100% mechanical: high reliability, life-span, easy to install and use, no maintenance.
Like in a car, just a simple click! The motorcycle lanyard is robust and practical because standard for all Helite airbag systems: mechanical and mechatronical.
The size of the CO2 cartridge is proportional to the size of the airbag. The cartridge is the only component that needs to be replaced after inflation.
Technical textile especially chosen for its tear and abrasion resistance (over 50.000 cycles by the MARTINDALE test).
The collar is folded so the soft part is in contact with your skin. The collar unfolds when the airbag deploys to maintain the neck and head effectively.
Interior textile 3D mesh for maximum air circulation.
Resistant enough to sustain many inflations. Quick and easy to open and close even with gloves and/or cold hands.
Adjustment straps to fit the vest nicely over any motorcycle gear.
Very low cut underarm for full freedom of movement.
The Turtle is a 2015 airbag innovation from Helite. Helite relocated the back protector on top of the airbag versus underneath like the Airnest system is. This creates a "helmet shell" effect and proves to protect the back area much more efficiently, especially small intruding objects. The AIRNEST is the predecessor, easier to wear over a racing-hump it is still the first choice for riders that ride both on the road and on the track.
Yes, the airbag is water resistant. It was designed for outdoor use and can be exposed to wet conditions (rain, UV rays).
Washing machine and dryer are prohibited. The airbag vest can be washed by hand without drowning the mechanical part of the system. We recommend that you energetically scrub with a brush in warm soapy water (no detergent, products may alter the fabric).
The 100% mechanical Helite systems integrate the same airbag (models: TOURING, ROADSTER, VENTED, TURTLE VEST).
The MEKATRONIK airbag and the GP'AIR model integrate a different airbag shape.
Helite uses very resistant and anti-abrasion material for its Turtle vests. The airbag is integrated in the vest; the textile of the vest will protect the airbag tubes. Additionally, the TURTLE vest has a back protector on top of the airbag, which also protects the airbag and from abrasion in general.
We have hundreds of happy customers that reuse their airbag after they have fallen and slid, whether on the road or on the track. If the airbag does get damaged it will probably have saved you from fractures and/or bruises. HELITE is at your service in case your airbag needs a repair or check.
Every airbag comes with a user guide. The user guide will explain you how to use and take care of your motorcycle airbag, how to install the cord and reactivate your system after inflation.
Our team is at your service, even after your purchase if you have any doubt about the correct use of your inflatable life savior.

CE CERTIFICATION - Our airbags are certified by the external laboratory CRITT Sport, the French specialist for objectively testing Personal protective equipment (PPE).
MOTORBIKE TIMES CLIENT TESTIMONIAL - "Peter Humphrey was involved in an accident whilst wearing a Helite Airnest vest, a cover vest which inflates to protect the upper body on impact, and it recent proved to be worth its weight in gold as it prevented him from severe injuries during a crash." => Read more
webBikeWorld TESTED THE AIRNEST VEST - "It's easy to use, designed to fit over a motorcycle jacket and it costs about as much as a good quality helmet. [...] The AirNest is made to much higher quality standards than the airbag jackets and vests we have reviewed in the past." => Read more
